Mexican FICCSUR hosts Iran’s ‘Echo’

Iranian short animation ‘Echo’ has competed at the Southern Cone International Film Festival (FICCSUR) in Mexico.

Directed by Barzan Rostami, the short ran at the Short Animation Competition section of the 4th edition of the fest.

‘Echo’ is about understanding and perception of wildlife and environmental abuse and its consequences on human race.

Soon the short will attend more international events, including the Smaragdni eco film festival in Croatia and the International Festival of Animated film “Constantine’s Gold Coin” in Serbia.

The Southern Cone International Film Festival aims to host films of various languages with only the films themselves being the common one.

This year edition of the fest which held on May 21-24, 2020 has not released the winners list yet.
